In 1993 KİFAS ORTOPEDİK ÜRÜNLER SANAYİ VE TİCARET ŞİRKETİ started production of the original KASIRGA (“whirlwind”) model. The Whirlwind model was designed by USA wheelchair rider and inventor Ralf Hotchkiss, along with the participation of several other wheelchairs mechanics.  (http://www.whirlwindwheelchair.org/networkcountries/middleeast/middleeast.htm). Whirlwind design wheelchairs are now being manufactured in 45 countries on five continents.

The KASIRGA URBAN model has an incredible durability. Some active KİFAS KASIRGA URBAN riders have been using the same wheelchair now for more than 10 years.

After several years, KİFAS brought out similar models onto the market:  KASIRGA SECURE and KASIRGA SECURE FLEXİ, meeting the demands and expectations of wheelchair riders and their assistants. Every KİFAS product carries on the same quality, durability, functionality and design tradition.

In 2004 KİFAS introduced the KASIRGA SKUTER and KASIRGA SKUTER FLEXI pushchair models, again with the same commitment to quality and durability, together with specific functions and adjustability.

At the beginning of 2006 KİFAS came out with the E37 MINI and E50 JUNIOR CHILDREN’S ADJUSTABLE ARMCHAIR which meets a very specific need for support and adjustability.

In 2006 KİFAS started making the PORTABLE BATH on wheels.

In 2007 completed the JUNIOR CHILDREN’S ADJUSTABLE ARMCHAIR with the E65 TEENER model.
